Standard Tuning

Pitch adjustment consists of pitch raising or pitch lowering, depends on the initial piano condition.
Using an Electronic Tuning Device (ETD) to ensure the accuracy of each note, and combined with Piano Stretch Factor (PSF) which every piano has a different and unique PSF.

Please keep in mind, even pianos that are produced from a mass production line, still use wood as their major parts. It impossible to get identical woods, so no one can guarantee those pianos are all identical either.

Therefore, embedded PSF formula during tuning process makes a significance difference with common basic tuning, because each piano treated individually based on its uniqueness.
In fact, this method will help to embrace its uniqueness in order to create enjoyable moment when it’s played.

Pianos that are rarely or never get tuned will extremely out of tune, tend to be unpleasant to play and listen to.
For that reason, piano at home needs to be tuned regularly, usually once in every six months in normal condition and always just before a performance in concert halls.

The longer a piano remains out of tune, the more time and effort it will take for a Piano Technician to restore it to proper pitch.
